Evolution of thinking (Changes of life across the lifespan)
The best known French-Cuban-American writer says "We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are." The way of people’s thinking for a particular matters changes by age. But the biggest question is how people’s mind changes according to their age?? The stages of a human life are often divided into key development periods .Childhood, Adolescence, Adulthood and Old age are mainly stages of life. People thinks differently at this stages.
The first thing came in our mind if we think about past is our childhood. There are very few people who doesn’t miss his/her childhood. We can again divide childhood by age. At the age 0-5 we call this stage early childhood. Social interaction begin in this stage. Children start thinking and express themselves about various topic. They try to do things on their own. As example when a baby gets a new toy then their thinking varies . They are driven by curiosity, excitement and explore the toy. We see at this early childhood stage most of the baby engage in imaginative play. Then come the childhood stage , at this stage when children gets new toy they start thinking with excitement about how does it works. A trendency of sharing toys and test its mechanical functions is also common thinking of this stage. But the age 10 to 12 children thinking about how to keep a toy safe, they play with a toy very safely. Beginning of keeping things safe started at this age. At this stage children also losing interest in toys.
After childhood then come the stage adolescence or teenage , they start forming personal values, and exploring who they are. They start to think they are right in taking decsions and a common thing shows in this stage that people takes wrong decisions. They start thinking about taking risks. While they’re thinking about the future, they may also feel pressure or anxiety about making the "right" choices for their education, career, or personal life. They think social interactions is more significant. They also start thinking about self values and set life goal. In this stage they are more addicted in technologies. They become happy when someone offer them new devices.
Then come the stage early adulthood , at this stage people start thinking about how to achieve goals, get a good job, how to make life better. This is the stage when people start thinking about their family members. They thinks the difference between reality and expectations. They start thinking the process of personal growth and also think about finances . Sometimes they think too much that cause mental health struggles, depressions. At this stage people mostly thinks about their career. They start losing interest in devices.
After that, the adulthood stage come people start to think for their family members more than themselves. They start thinking about how to smoothly balance between personal and personal life. They also think about financial stability. They have their own choices to think about life . Savings for future also start in this stages. People start missing old days and their childhood.
At the late adulthood stage people thinks about what to do after retire. They think about the changing roles in family and society . As some health problem become visible at this stage then they think about life more.
In the old stage, people thinks about life and past most. The old people become a baby again. They share their insights and wisdom gained from a lifetime of experiences. A trendency of forgetting things shows in this stage. They need to treat like a child. They found their happiness in their child, grandchild. New devices, technologies invents as time goes. Old people face problem adopting this. Usually they don’t like the things they don’t understands. They start thinking about their golden past life.
As we traverse the various stages of life, our thinking transforms in response to our experiences, challenges, and growth. A child thinks to grow up fast where an adult or old think to go back to their childhood. By acknowledging and embracing the way our thoughts transform over time, we can find greater meaning and fulfillment in each stage of life. Ultimately, understanding the evolution of our thinking across the lifespan showcases the profound beauty of our intellectual journey and inspires us to continuously embrace growth and learning at every stage of life.
