Exploring the Beauty of Photography
Photography is the art of capturing memories. Without words one can communicate with each other with the help of photography. It is a great medium of storytelling and communication. It also help us to improve our technical skills. Moreover, photography can open the door of professional opportunities. I took the photography as my hobby because I love to capture memories and it gives me much pleasure and joy. It also boost my mind and physical health.
Photography as my hobby
There are various kind of photography such as portrait, landscape, street, wildlife and many more but I choose wildlife photography as my hobby at a very young age. It offers me to capture memories and improve my technical skills. I have gone through with many different cameras, lens and editing software so it improve my technical skills. Photography allows me to travel various places and meet different types of people. For that reason I have come to know about the traditions and life styles. To capture the best photo I have to walk many miles carrying my camera so it helps to improve my physical and mental health. There are many career opportunities such as freelancing, exhibitions and selling prints and this is the another reason to choose photography as my hobby photography offers me to see the world differently.
What I have explored so far
v I travelled various places for photography purpose. So far I saw some stunning green Forests, calm rivers and tall mountains all of them are perfect places for taking photos. Everywhere I found something beautiful to capture in my camera.
On 26 November, 2022 I captured this beautiful picture of five fishing boats together at Sylhet.
On 6 April, 2023 I saw a group of Kentish Plover birds at Rajshahi. Kentish Plover basically eat larva, spider and ell-grass. The sounds of birds singing and animals moving around was a great chance to capture the wild beauty. Bright nature and different animals made everything beautiful. Every time I felt lucky to be in such a wonderful place surrounded by the wild beauty.
v As a wildlife photographer I often face many challenges. I have to spend long time at outdoors, sometimes in very bad Weather like rain or extreme heat. To get the perfect shot every time i have to wait for hours.
On 15 October, 2022 I went to Keokradong, Chattogram. There I have crossed a very unhygienic place with my equipment. Cameras and lenses are very heavy. So, it becomes very difficult to move easily.
On 24 April, 2023 when I was seating for my shot suddenly I experienced the dust storm at Padma Chor, Rajshahi. It was a horrible day for me.
v After all that hard work and patience, when I click the best photo of wild beauty, I feel so much relief. It’s like a big reward for me. It’s also a moment of fulfillment. The joy was not for the technical success of the photo, that joy was for the connection I feel with the wild.
These are the three photo that I clicked recent. This perfect shot can tell a beautiful story to everybody. As I told before, photography is a great medium of storytelling, each of the photos carried three different story. At first, the picture of an Oriental Garden Lizard, who was in a mission trying to protect his or her home from other animals. Secondly, the picture of responsibility. An Orange Headed Thrush who hunt foods for his or her babies. I mesmerized when I saw how beautifully he or she gave it to their babies. Finally, the picture of love or carness, the picture of a mother and a baby simian. The mother was showing his love for her baby and she was prepared to protected her baby from all kind of attacked. I am very much glad that I select wildlife photography as my hobby because it offers me to see the world differently.
